Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking is considered the “Einstein of our time” by many scientists. His contributions to understanding the universe have been incredible. Much of what we now know about black holes and white dwarfs stems from the mathematics of Hawking.
For those interested in Hawking’s work in theoretical physics and astronomy, he has written about his search for scientific truth in his book, A Brief History of Time.
According to press reports, on the topic of human cloning, he had this to say:
“The fuss about cloning is rather silly, I can’t see any essential distinction between cloning and producing brothers and sisters in the time-honored way.” – Stephen Hawking
