What this site is

HumanCloning.org is an independent educational publication covering cloning research, reproductive technology, stem-cell science, bioethics, law, and the future of genetic medicine. We write for general readers, students, journalists, and anyone trying to make sense of a frequently sensationalised topic.

Our editorial focus is explanatory. We try to take ideas that are usually presented in fragments or in alarmist tones and lay them out in their full context, fairly and carefully.

What this site is not

We are not a medical institution, a laboratory, a fertility clinic, a foundation, a university, a research consortium, a government authority, or an advocacy organisation. We do not offer cloning, fertility, genetic-preservation, or medical services of any kind, and we do not refer readers to any organisation that claims to.

We do not publish laboratory protocols, embryo-manipulation instructions, or step-by-step procedures of any kind.

How we work

• Independent. The publication is editorially independent and is not directed by any laboratory, foundation, advocacy group, or government body.
• Source-led. Factual claims are grounded in widely accepted material from NIH, NHGRI, FDA, WHO, UNESCO, peer-reviewed scientific literature, national bioethics committees, and similar authoritative sources.
• Non-advocacy. We do not campaign for or against human cloning legalisation. We aim to represent the strongest versions of each ethical position fairly.
• Cautious. Where the science is unsettled, we say so. Where the law is jurisdiction-specific, we say so. Where claims look like hype, we say so.

HumanCloning.org is produced by an editorial team committed to accuracy and to the editorial principles described in our editorial policy. We do not present anonymous or fabricated experts as part of the publication, and we do not list staff biographies that we cannot stand behind.
